LOVED by Parcels

Parcels have released a new album, entitled 'LOVED.' It's pretty bare-bones and raw (in terms of the instrumentation, it doesn't have a ton of effects processing), but consistently good.

It's been interesting to see how their sound has changed (or not changed) over the years. In a way, I've expected them to go one way with a particular "sound," but they usually surprise me, for better or worse. This album's sound was surprising. I was expecting them to really fill out their sound with sound effects and underlying pad-like sounds, but they kept it raw with this one. Good for them.

Deezer and AI Music

Pretty shocking statistics on the amount of fully AI-generated music that is submitted to the Deezer music platform. It's only going to get worse until consumers have absolutely had enough of it and companies take a firm stance against it (like what we are seeing in this case)
